The Colorful Armor mod provides players with the ability to infuse their armor sets with various colors using any of the dyes available in the game. It's a straightforward adjustment that's particularly useful in servers for team differentiation or simply to add some visual variety to your armor.
This mod simplifies the process of coloring armor by allowing players to apply any dye they desire to their crafted armor pieces. Moreover, players can create new color variations by combining already colored armor with a different dye.
The mod also introduces a feature allowing players to modify already dyed armor. A crafted sponge now enables players to clean off the dye from a piece of armor. Applying the sponge to the dyed armor restores it to its original state or removes the previous color, granting the ability to re-dye it. This feature eliminates the need to discard a piece of armor if you prefer a different color just clean it off and apply a new dye.
Furthermore, the mod includes a recipe for crafting chain mail armor, which can also be colored. Players first create chain links from iron nuggets and then fashion them into the respective armor shapes.
